Through a U.S. Department of Justice Grant to Encourage Arrest grant received by the Idaho Supreme Court, the Idaho Coalition Against Sexual & Domestic Violence is facilitating a state-level committee of governmental and non-governmental organizations to stimulate a more coordinated response to domestic and sexual violence to look for broader system outcomes, increase safety for victims, hold perpetrators accountable, and improve inter-agency collaboration. The ICRDSV staff liaisons that meet monthly are currently working on the development of an Idaho Domestic Violence Workplace Policy and a model Idaho Risk Assessment of Dangerousness in Domestic Violence toolkit with input from law enforcement as well as templates for interagency agreements as a means of enhancing local coordinated community response for two or more pilot projects in urban and rural areas of the state.
