Sexual Assault Services Program (SASP)

Sexual Assault Services Program (SASP) provides funds for intervention, advocacy, accompaniment, support services and related assistance for adult, youth, and child victims of sexual assault, family and household members of victims and those collaterally affected by the sexual assault.

Currently, fourteen sexual assault programs across the state of Idaho have received funding from the State Formula SASP grant to expand their capacity to provide compassionate support to victims of sexual assault.

Idaho’s sexual programs are implementing innovative strategies such as yoga, book clubs, journaling, and support groups to provide those who have experienced sexual assault with opportunities for healing.

Building Capacity

The Idaho Coalition in partnership with the Idaho State Police Grants & Research works to build the capacity of Idaho’s domestic and sexual violence programs to increase effectiveness of intervention, advocacy, accompaniment, support services and related assistance for adult, youth, and child victims of sexual assault, family and household members of victims and those collaterally affected by the sexual assault.
