Stalking is a series of actions that someone engages in to make you feel afraid or in danger. A stalker can be someone you know well or not at all. Most have dated or been involved with the people they stalk.
Stalking behaviors include:
- Following/monitoring activities
- Sending unwanted mail, email, gifts
- Annoying or threatening telephone calls
- Going through garbage
- Vehicle tampering
- Driving by/parking near work or residence
- Appearing at home or workplace uninvited
- “Coincidentally” showing up wherever victim goes
- Taking photos or videos of victim
